Leipzig software firm strengthens US partnership
Denver, CO - Ubisense Inc. is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with Germany based IT and software provider, Geomagic GmbH.
Under the agreement, Ubisense will become the distributor of Geomagic’s software products in North America.
Geomagic provides software unique in the market for pipeline integrity assessment, asset management and asset service, as well as work management – all with functionality for audit-proof storage and documentation.
“I am pleased and excited about Ubisense becoming the distributor of our products in North America. Ubisense has a strong position in the utilities market, making them an ideal partner for us. Our software will strengthen the product portfolio Ubisense can offer its customers. This is a true win-win situation,” says Dr. Stephan Knoblauch, product manager with Geomagic.
This strategic partnership opens up markets outside Europe for Geomagic's software products, which include Trascue.PIMS and GeoNAM.

In addition, the Geomagic products offer easy integration with GE Smallworld and flexible configuration options which are important factors for future success with the partnership.
