Evaluation suite
This Evaluation Suite is a free-to-download fully-functional copy of the Ubisense Location Platform and Developer Software available under a 60-day evaluation license. It includes everything you need to build,test and deploy real-time location-aware applications.
What we give you
1. The complete Ubisense Location Platform and Developer Tools (Windows versions)
Ubisense Site Manager, Location Services and .NET APIs for creating your own rich models of the environment and the objects in it and using them to build shared, scalable, real-time location-aware services and applications.
Ubisense Simulator for testing and demonstrating your location-aware applications without needing a sensor system.
Ubisense Data Dictionary Editor for browsing and extending the Ubisense data model to support your own applications, sensors and devices.
Ubisense Administrative tools: Service Manager, Service Installer, and Security Manager for creating a scalable and secure Ubisense system capable of running on anything from a single laptop to a large cluster of servers.
2. Evaluation licenses
A full license allowing you to use all the software features for a period of up to 60 days.
3. A complete example showing how to build real-time, distributed, sensor-driven applications using Ubisense
To illustrate some of the power of Ubisense, the evaluation package comes with a fun, multi-user bumper car game that shows you how easy it is to use Ubisense to build a distributed, shared, real-time, location-aware system. The game comes ready to run, with all its source code included without copyright restrictions. You are free to do what you like with it: modify it, extend it, learn from it or just have fun playing it.
What you can do with it
You can use the license to evaluate our product in any way you wish, as long as you obey the terms of the evaluation license agreement and don’t carry on using the evaluation software after the 60 days evaluation period is up.
- Put together a prototype using Ubisense to solve a problem within your company
- Put together a demo using Ubisense to show to potential customers
- Try writing applications using Ubisense
- Try adding new services to support your own sensors and devices
- Or just have some fun playing the game!
What we ask from you
You leave us a valid email address so that we can contact you strictly in order to discuss your evaluation of our product. Of course we will never knowingly disclose your email address, or give it or sell it to any third party. You will be asked to enter your email address and details during the installation process of the evaluation licenses.
You agree to the terms of the license agreement which is packaged with the software (a copy of which is available here). You will have the chance to view this during the installation process.

Each of these downloads are self-extracting archives. Double-click on the downloaded file to begin the extraction process. Each download will extract files to a folder containing a README file, which contains additional installation instructions pertinent to the particular download.
